BILL GREEN

Principal and Founding Member.


Green specializes in general campaign strategy and budget, media production and placement, direct mail, and ballot access. He has consulted for political and issues campaigns, as well as non-profit and commercial organizations.


Prior to forming Green Gallagher, Green served for twelve years as Vice President at Sheinkopf Communications. Earlier, Green managed numerous political campaigns in New York City and the greater New York area and served in various governmental capacities for New York Governors Hugh Carey and Mario Cuomo, New York City Mayor Abraham Beame, New York City Council President Carol Bellamy, the New York State Senate and the New York State Senate Finance Committee. Green began his career in the field of commercial advertising.


A lifelong New Yorker, Green has lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. He currently lives in Clinton (aka Hell’s Kitchen).

Green has worked on hundreds of campaigns around the country, from the local level to the statewide level. Successful campaigns have included (in alphabetical order): C. In addition, Green has worked on projects for non-political clients such as New Yorkers to Change Albany (successful defeat of Proposition 1), the Hispanic Federation, the New York Health Care Alliance, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, the Rent Stabilization Association, Service Employees Union Local 144, the New York State Troopers Association and the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association.
